Featured User Interface
The menu driven user interface was added to the second beta release of Rad Card. The
look and feel that was available in the first release
(classic) and the UI of the first beta
(modern) have also been preserved. Thus the
current version of the applet has three different look and feels. You an switch between
them easily just by changing one line in the configuration file.

Using the applet
- Adding Text
- When you hit the Text icon ('T'), a add text dialog will popup. Use the textarea to enter
your text and click on OK to add the text.
- Editing Text
- To edit an exiting text item select it first by clicking on it with the mouse.
Once you have finished editing the selected item hit the ok button to save the changes.
If you click cancel the original text will be preserved.
- Formatting Text
- You can set font properties such as bold, italics and underline by clicking on the relevent
buttons in the top most tool bar (the text has to be selected first). You can change font sizes
and fonts by using the corresponding combo boxes
- Adding Images

This release makes it possible for you to import images to your work by simpling pasting
them on the work area. Select an image from your hard disck use Ctrl-c to copy it, move the
mouse over to the canvas and use edit->paste or Ctrl-v to import the selected picture.
Images are imported to the applet from the user's files. Once the files have been uploaded
either with Rad Upload or some other mechanism click the image gallery button and a list of images available for import will be displayed. Choose your image and click the select button.
- Saving your work
- Clicking on the save button will bring up a dialog that allows you to save the design on
by sending to via HTTP to the server
- Loading previously saved work
- Click on the open button and a dialog will pop up that allows you to select from previously
saved designs
